John Proia

President / CEO

John Proia is a real estate investor, and real estate investment fund management specialist. With over 150 individual properties and projects under his belt throughout various Southern California communities, John has a supreme level of expertise in identification of prime investment opportunities.

John has acted as an acquisition and disposition specialist, as well as fund manager for 15 different investment funds. From company inception, operating agreement formation, strategic planning, accounting, legal resources, acquisition avenues, rehab planning and scheduling, property positioning and re-sale; John has overseen all components of the process of real estate investment fund management.

Prior to investment fund management, John was the CEO of Keller Williams Realty- Westlake Village. In that position, and through his systems and planning, the company saw expansion on the order of nearly 90% in agent count and nearly 30% in office productivity. In addition, the agent relationships established during this time continue to serve as a potential source of investment property referrals.


Mark Rafeh

Vice President

Mark Rafeh has worked in real estate finance for the past 14 years. He has experience in all segments of mortgage lending including underwriting, originating, and securitization. Mark has worked for some of the largest national lenders which include City National Bank, Weyerhaeuser Mortgage, and Accubanc. In 2003, he started Loan Centers of America Inc., which he still owns today. Mark has underwritten and originated over 1000 loans, which include residential developments. His experience in underwriting and originating commercial, residential, and construction loans is an asset to our management team.

Mark began acquiring distressed real estate franchises in 2006 starting with Coldwell Banker Premier in Simi Valley, CA. He purchased Century 21 Hilltop in 2007 and Century 21 La Carre in 2009. In 2009 all offices were put into the Century 21 franchise. Under Mark's management Century 21 Hilltop has become the leader in market share in Simi Valley and has been recognized by the Century 21 Corporation for being the second highest producing office in the Southern California Region.

Mark is also very involved with philanthropic organizations and sits on the board of directors for Easter Seals, which provides services to families who have children or adults who suffer from developmental disabilities.
